The Youth Manifesto is a declaration of a shared vision for Kenya and its youth. It is a culmination of a long process and journey that began nine months ago. The journey for the preparation of the Youth Manifesto began with the convening of youth participants who are actively involved in the political and civic leadership space from across the country in a nationwide Youth Summit, with participants (Nairobi, North-Eastern, Eastern, Central, Coast, Rift-Valley, Nyanza, and Western) came up with a draft of the Youth Manifesto which highlighted key thematic issues under three broad pillars; Economic, Social, and Political.

The Youth Manifesto Jury Report

The Kenya Youth Manifesto 2022 made it possible for young people's voices to be heard. This was done by opening up an opportunity for youth jurors who spent a day determining the importance of this manifesto in relation to the future Kenyan population on the 21st of April, 2022 at Golden Tulip Hotel in Westlands, Nairobi. The question throughout the day left jurors hungry and anticipating - what is this country going to look like when these youngsters take over?
