Clinton Muema is a seasoned global marketing leader with over 13 years of progressive experience building brands, driving market growth, and delivering strategic business results for both local and international organisations. His professional journey spans multiple sectors, including aviation, financial services, manufacturing, engineering, retail, and business services, where he has successfully led transformative marketing, communications, and business development initiatives.
Currently serving as Marketing Manager – Rest of the World Markets at Kenya Airways PLC, Clinton leads the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies across 15 countries spanning Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, India and the Gulf (MEGI), Asia-Pacific (APAC), and West Africa. In this role, he oversees multi-market brand positioning, customer acquisition and loyalty programs, strategic partnerships, digital marketing, market intelligence, and revenue-generating campaigns that strengthen the airline's global footprint and competitive advantage.
Throughout his career, Clinton has demonstrated exceptional expertise in strategic marketing, corporate communications, brand management, digital transformation, customer experience, stakeholder engagement, and business development. He has successfully negotiated and managed partnerships with leading multinational corporations, financial institutions, tourism boards, media organisations, and government agencies across Africa, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North America.
Beyond his executive responsibilities, Clinton contributes to organisational governance and strategic oversight as a Non-Executive Director at Karbon Assure and as a Member of the Vetting and Nominations Committee at Finnlemm Sacco Society Limited, where he supports leadership development, governance excellence, and institutional sustainability.
Clinton recently completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at London Metropolitan University, United Kingdom, and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), United Kingdom. He also earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) degree from Kenyatta University and has pursued additional professional certifications in Project Management, Digital Marketing, E-Commerce Marketing, Leadership, and Sales Management. He is a member of both the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM) and the Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK).
