Willice onyango

Willice Onyango is the executive Director of The Youth Cafe.He previously served as global youth representative to the UN High Level Panel of Eminent Persons on Post 2015 and in the African Union Working Group on Food Security and Demographic Dividend,and an executive member of the International Youth Council,Kenya.Consequently, he has been invited to speak at numerous international forums spanning 28 countries, including the 68th UN General Assembly; World Bank Youth Forum, AU Heads of States Summit among others on youth, development,and democracy. He is an alumnus of the One Young World,International Young Leaders Assembly,and completed Civic Leadership Institute at Kansas State University as part of Mandela Washington YALI Fellowship.

Ogendi derick mokonge

Ogendi  Derick Mokonge is a vibrant youth with high interest in the technology field, he envisions a state in which people irrespective of their color, race or sex can utilize, enjoy and exploit the resources at hand. During his leisure, he tries to understand the bridge between artificial intelligence and fate of humanity. Currently he offers his services in The Youth Cafe which aims in amplifying the voices of  youth.

Rukia is Tanzania’s own Annoyin’Artist. Performing self and social analytical pieces in all her shows, she is the creator of The Annoyin'Artist event running for two years now, encouraging a showcase of creativity in local performance and visual arts and engaging audience members in interdisciplinary conversations – during its regular “No Small Talk” Sessions. The event has contributions from a diverse group of people including secondary school students, local artists, educators and travelers. She has brought The Annoyin’Artist to audiences in Arusha and Dar Es Salaam - recently launching Arusha’s first annual Creative Festival of its kind. She is continues to work on the City Beautification project, an effort towards a collaborative East African visual art representation in public spaces across Arusha. She is a TEDx speaker and regularly speaks in schools within her city, insisting that art can be a respected and celebrated path for Tanzanians. She studied Biochemistry before deciding to set out on her creative path. Her biggest goal is to spearhead projects that foster local art and encourage meaningful conversation. As she continues to explore all possibilities, she aims to reinvent herself every year by passionately demonstrating the responsibility of self expression and importance of creating without fear or favor
