The Youth Cafe in partnership with ForumCiv and partners are excited to celebrate and host the International Day of Democracy 2025 under the theme “Reclaiming Space, Reimagining Democracy”, a reflection on Kenya’s democratic journey, amplifying youth voices, and promoting inclusive civic participation in response to the country’s evolving political and social landscape.
The event will feature a rich blend of artivism performances, exhibitions, high-level panel discussion, and interactive dialogues bringing together university students, civil society actors, academia, government representatives, development partners, and the general public, with a special focus on youth participation.
