On March 13th HENNET in partnership with KANCO hosted a meeting to collect CSO views on NHIF reforms that have been continuously mentioned by key leaders including the President and the CS. Health. A report was developed and has been under review by the organizing team. An advocacy window of opportunity has opened up for HENNET membership and the wider network of CSO to participate and present the voices of Kenyans earlier presented in different CSO forums held.
HENNET continues to offer leadership to ensure that CSO voices of the communities we represent are captured and presented in the Draft NHIF Amendment Act Regulation, 2023. We therefore invite you to a virtual call on Friday 5th May at 10.30 am (see link below) to consultatively outline key amendments that we wish to see in the Act. Attached please find the public notice, the Act and format in which suggestions and comments need to be presented. Deadline for submission of comments is on 11th May 2023 at 5.00pm!
