The Youth Café is pleased to share an exciting opportunity for young leaders across Africa through the Africa-Europe Youth Academy (AEYA) project. Applications are now open for Cohort 1 of the New Leaders LAB Programme, an initiative designed to equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to create meaningful change in their communities.
Who Can Apply?
The programme is open to young people aged 18–30 years who are residing in any of the following countries:
Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Guinea, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritania, Mozambique, Niger, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, and Zambia.
What the Programme Offers
Funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), the New Leaders LAB Programme provides participants with:
Comprehensive training in leadership, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement.
Access to a vibrant pan-African network of young changemakers driving impact across the continent.
Mentorship and guidance from experienced African and international experts.
The programme is completely free of charge, offering an excellent opportunity for young leaders committed to making a positive difference in their communities.
