Procurement Conditions

 

Building on the philosophy and achievements of the 17 UN SDGsThe Youth Cafe envisions a  world in which the private sector plays a  constructive role in finding durable solutions and opportunities for young people.

To achieve this, we proactively engage with organizations and foundations eager to help drive change and find innovative solutions to youth issues. The Youth Cafe also endeavors to undertake environmentally responsible sourcing of goods and services. 

The Youth Cafe does not purchase from companies engaged in the sale or manufacture,  either directly or indirectly,  of antipersonnel mines or any components produced primarily for the operation thereof.  The Youth Cafe does not purchase from companies engaged in any practice inconsistent with the rights set forth in the  Convention on Human Rights. 

Any unethical practice,  including  Sexual  Exploitation and  Abuse, is antithetical to the policies and principles of The Youth Cafe. Particular reference is made to the The Youth Cafe Supplier Code of Conduct which is mandatory for all vendors. 

Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

Suppliers may be eligible for registration but are not necessarily qualified for certain procurement actions. This latter status is only determined after a pre-qualification or a tender evaluation exercise.
