The Youth Cafe and Expertise France Team During the Partnership Ceremony at The Youth Cafe Offices
Partnerships
The Africa–Europe Youth Academy (AEYA) welcomes collaboration with funding partners, institutions, and organisations committed to strengthening youth leadership and civic participation across Africa. While the current Call for Projects is financed by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France and AICS, additional partnerships can expand the reach and sustainability of AEYA’s impact.
By contributing to the AEYA grants “kitty,” partners can:
Expand reach: Support more youth‑led organisations and Spaces for Youth across East, Southern, and Central Africa.
Strengthen inclusion: Ensure greater participation of young women and vulnerable youth, including those in rural, displaced, or marginalized communities.
Enhance sustainability: Provide long‑term resources for scaling successful initiatives beyond the grant period.
Leverage expertise: Bring in technical support, mentoring, and innovation ecosystems to complement AEYA’s capacity‑building package.
Foster global collaboration: Connect African youth organisations with European institutions, private sector actors, and international networks.
Forms of partnerships
Partnerships may take the form of:
financial contributions;
technical assistance;
strategic collaborations.
All partners will be acknowledged in AEYA’s communication materials and invited to participate in regional networking and visibility events.
