The EU Action Plan On Human Rights And Democracy 2020–2024 is a framework, one of purpose and direction, with a broad range of policies, tools, and political and financial instruments. This EU Action Plan on Human Rights and Democracy 2020-2024 is the third Action Plan on Human Rights and Democracy adopted by the EU. As with the previous two Action Plans, the objective is to enhance and hone EU efforts to promote human rights and democracy worldwide.
With a special focus on Africa and the Middle East, GPYE sought to address the youth employment challenge through improved knowledge-sharing, policy dialogue, and local engagement. Using this evidence-based approach, partners launched a range of youth employment programs, research initiatives, and learning events through 2014.
APAYE speaks primarily to Goal 18 of the Ten-Year Implementation Plan of Agenda 2063 and (given the cross-cutting nature of youth issues) contributes to all the other goals and seven aspirations of Agenda 2063. It unleashes the potential of African young people and thus positions youth at the center of Africa’s development
