The Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth Forum will take place from 25 to 27 April 2023 in a hybrid format. The Youth Cafe alongside other Youth leaders around the world will have the opportunity to engage with government representatives, youth delegates, policymakers, and other relevant stakeholders in civil society and the private sector. Side events will take place virtually and in-person from 25 to 27 April 2023.

Climate Challenges, UN SDG Goal 13

The Youth Cafe is inviting youths to participate in this free virtual Global Climate Action Challenge. In March 2021, student groups in the Challenge stream ideate solutions that help contribute to addressing real-life climate challenges. Choosing from one of the Problem Statements, Teams then have 10 days to work on their solution. Datathon stream for passionate students with data analytics skills to develop actionable insights and predictive models will also be hosted online. This will help contribute to climate solutions through the use of data. Teams will be provided with prominent environmental datasets used by climate scientists and two prizes of CAD$4,000 & CAD$2,000 on offer.
