The youth Cafe has partnered with United Nations Major Group for Children and Youth to create a platform that aims to give visibility to youth initiatives responding to COVID-19 and to the health, social, and economic consequences of the pandemic.

Each of the organizations below are fighting Covid-19. They are from different countries around the world, helping their local communities with medical assistance, food distribution, arts programs, education initiatives, technology solutions, and more.

All of these initiatives could use your support, whether it is with funding, technical expertise, knowledge sharing, promotion, or volunteering. Browse below to learn more about each program.

To be featured, your initiative must:

  • be youth-led, with at least half the leadership positions being held by people who are 31 or younger, OR strongly youth or children-focused, with its project focusing on people who are 31 or younger;

  • AND be acting in response to the COVID outbreak or its consequences, whether raising awareness about prevention, supporting vulnerable populations during the economic stop-down, supporting mental health, etc.

  • There are no other requirements for the initiative to be formal, or of any particular structure. Everyone from informal initiatives to long-staring NGOs are welcome to apply.

Just fill in the form, available in ENGLISHSPANISH, FRENCH, RUSSIAN or ARABIC! and please help us share it widely to your networks and social media.
