Background
The Youth Cafe is a youth-led organization established in September 2012 following the United Nations High-Level Panel outreach consultations on the Post-2015 Development Agenda. The organization works with young leaders from diverse sectors, including academia, civil society, media, finance, and governance, to advance youth participation and sustainable development.
Scope of Services
The selected service provider will be responsible for delivering comprehensive hospitality and catering services throughout the Teacher's Workshop event. The assignment will include:
Provision of full-day on-site catering and hospitality services.
Refreshments, tea and coffee service, and confectionery arrangements.
Multi-course lunch service for participants.
Dietary management and accommodation of special dietary requirements.
Catering station management and service coordination.
Provision of presentation-standard cutlery and service equipment.
Venue setup, service support, clearing, and post-event clean-up.
Quality Requirements
Service providers must demonstrate:
Compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Capacity to deliver high-quality catering services for professional and corporate learning events.
Strong logistical and operational capabilities.
Timely and efficient service delivery.
Evaluation Criteria
Submitted quotations will be evaluated based on:
Compliance with the specifications and scope of work.
Price competitiveness.
Quality of proposed services.
Ability to deliver on time.
Relevant past performance and experience.
The evaluation process will utilize a technical capability assessment combined with price competitiveness considerations.

Important Notes
Late submissions will not be considered.
Quotations must remain valid for a minimum period of thirty (30) days.
The Youth Cafe reserves the right to purchase all, part, or none of the requested services.
The Youth Cafe will not be responsible for any costs incurred in the preparation and submission of quotations.
Payment will be processed within 30 days following successful completion of the assignment and receipt of a valid invoice, subject to applicable tax deductions in accordance with Kenyan law.
