We are excited to extend a heartfelt invitation specifically to you to join the inaugural Agritech Kenya County Fair 2024, a pioneering initiative in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development led and officially convened by the State Department for Agriculture falling within Pillar 6 of the Department’s Comprehensive Framework for Increasing Food Production in Kenya, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Gender and Affirmative Action, the Ministry of ASALs, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, and the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection in partnership with key stakeholders in the “Jobs in Agriculture” space in Kenya.

Submit Your Agritech Before Deadline | Feature In 99 Affordable Agritechs For Young Agripreneurs Catalogue

During the Fair There will be a launch of Book Catalogue titled; “99 Affordable Agritechs for Young Agripreneurs” This Catalogue contains 99 affordable Agritechs intended for upscaling in Year 2024 courtesy of Agriculture and Technology Consortiums working closely with the event organizers. The aim of compilation of the agritechs is to enable as many youths as possible select the most appropriate technology suitable to their region and which can be up scaled for their adoption. This move is envisaged to have more youth engage in agriculture as a business across the 47 counties in Kenya.

The Technical Working Party - TEJATI is an important component of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, under the State Department of Agriculture tasked with the mandate of innovatively thinking through the process of ensuring that 470,000 new sustainable jobs are created per year along food and cash crop value chains across Kenya for the period between 2024 - 2025.
