The Youth Cafe (TYC), in partnership with the Kenya Leadership Integrity Forum (KLIF), today led the national commemoration of the 9th Edition of the African Anti-Corruption Day at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC). The event brought together stakeholders from across the public, private, and civil society sectors to raise awareness on the fight against corruption under the theme: “Promoting Human Dignity in the Fight Against Corruption.”

The Walkathon brought together a diverse range of participants: youth, women, civil society organizations, public institutions, and private sector, and covered a total distance of 5.5 kilometers. It was sponsored by a number of organizations, from Civil Society Organizations, Media, Public and Private Sector.

The Youth Café conducted a virtual video/photo award ceremony on the 23rd of September 2021. The theme of the project was to “capture your reality of corruption and governance”. Several key players attended including our participants, members of The Youth Café, members of the public and our keynote speaker, Mr. Samuel Kimeu, the Executive Director of Africa’s Voices Foundation.
