As global discussions on financing for development evolve in the wake of the FfD4 conference in Seville, young people are stepping up to shape the next chapter. Today’s Post-Sevilla Virtual Connect Webinar brings together a powerful lineup of youth leaders, fiscal justice advocates, and development experts for a critical and forward-looking reflection on the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4).
While the Seville conference reaffirmed commitments to issues like domestic resource mobilization, debt justice, and climate finance, one thing remains clear — youth engagement is still far from meaningful or consistent. This webinar aims to change that.
Why This Webinar Matters
Young people, especially across the Global South, are bearing the brunt of fiscal injustice — from chronic youth unemployment and regressive tax systems to underfunded public services and rising national debt. Despite these realities, youth voices remain marginalized in high-level development forums.
Post-Sevilla Virtual Connect is a youth-led response to these challenges — an opportunity to reclaim civic space and co-create more inclusive and accountable fiscal systems.
