Second Africa Climate Summit (ACS2) - Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

The ACS will bring together leaders from Africa and beyond: Heads of State and Government, development partners, intergovernmental organizations, private sector, academia, Indigenous Peoples, civil society organizations, women, and youth.

This diverse gathering aims to design and catalyze African-led solutions for climate change and deliberate on how to leverage both domestic and international climate financing, rooted in African priorities and local innovation, to accelerate implementation of existing commitments.

It is worth noting that the Hunan Xiangjiang New AreaChina-Africa Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base signed framework cooperation agreements with seven African youth incubation institutions and business associations including The Youth Cafe, a pan-African youth-led organization representing 1 million members and 3,500 youth groups in Kenya and across Africa, further expanding the base’s incubation network.

The 4th International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4), is scheduled to take place from 30 June to 3 July 2025 in FIBES Sevilla Exhibition and Conference Centre, Spain. FFD4 aspires to build a renewed global financing framework that will unlock greater volumes of capital at a lower cost. In Sevilla, and through a renewed global financing framework, leaders are taking action to deliver an SDG investment push and to reform the international financial architecture to enable the transformative change that the world urgently needs.
