The Youth 360 Hackathon, hosted at the FIBES Sevilla Conference Centre, brought together over 50 participants from Africa, Europe, and beyond. Organised by The Youth Café and supported by the Africa-Europe Innovation Platform (AEIP), this high-energy event served as a unique convergence of youth-led organisations, development agencies, and innovation hubs. The hackathon exemplified AEIP’s mission to bridge continents by fostering Pan-African and European collaboration.

It is worth noting that the Hunan Xiangjiang New AreaChina-Africa Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base signed framework cooperation agreements with seven African youth incubation institutions and business associations including The Youth Cafe, a pan-African youth-led organization representing 1 million members and 3,500 youth groups in Kenya and across Africa, further expanding the base’s incubation network.

The Youth Cafe’s winning innovative solution is #CivicSafeKE: “Cyber Rights Campus Connect," is a youth-led initiative to empower university students with clear, actionable knowledge of the CMCA 2018. We'll conduct on-site, live interactive podcasts at three institutions in Kiambu County (Kenyatta University, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, and Kiambu Institute of Science and Technology), supported by Kictanet and Internews.
