The Youth Café Invites Eligible Service Providers to Submit Quotations
The Youth Café (TYC), as an implementing partner in the SAFE-MIT (Safe Migration Information and Training) Project in Kenya, invites qualified and eligible transport service providers to submit quotations for the provision of transportation services to support the distribution of project materials to participating schools across Kiambu, Nairobi, and Kajiado counties.
SAFE-MIT is funded by the European Union, contracted by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) through the MMD Grant Facility, and implemented by Seefar Foundation in partnership with The Youth Café in Kenya.
Scope of Assignment
The successful service provider will be required to provide a vehicle and related transport services for the distribution of project materials to participating schools within the project implementation areas.
The assignment will involve the transportation of educational and engagement materials to designated schools within the agreed timelines.
Vehicle Requirements
Interested applicants should propose a vehicle that meets the following minimum requirements:
Vehicle must be in good mechanical condition and suitable for long-distance travel.
Vehicle must be capable of accessing and operating effectively in remote and challenging terrains.
Vehicle must possess valid insurance and all applicable statutory compliance documents.
Availability throughout the planned distribution period.
Driver must possess a valid driving licence and relevant experience.
Evaluation Criteria
Quotations will be evaluated based on:
Compliance with the required vehicle specifications.
Vehicle condition and roadworthiness.
Ability to operate in remote and hard-to-reach locations.
Relevant experience in providing transport services.
Availability during the assignment period.
Cost competitiveness and value for money.
Compliance with legal and operational requirements.
The Youth Café reserves the right to request additional information or clarification from applicants during the evaluation process.
